Pedro Rabassa was born in Barcelona in 1683. He was chapel master in cathedrals of Vic (1713), Valencia (1714-1724) and Sevilla (1724-1767). He died in Sevilla in 1767. His works are preserved in spanish and iberoamerican archives, mostly in Valencia, Cádiz, Guatemala and México cathedrals and in the Colegiata de Olivares (Sevilla). This cantata can be played with recorder or flute.
